Yeah but maybe you just suck. =P

Wiimote sideways is the only way I play.

True Smash Bros. players know: even if you're a master of all 4 control schemes, Gamecube controller is the only way to go.

DS would control pretty well, it just wouldn't be as fun to be on a handheld (and I typically prefer handhelds over consoles).

So Im not a "True Smash Bros Player"? I guess....

It works and I play fine with Wiimote sideways I never understood all the bitching. Just how I dont understand the bitching about 360 controllers.

There won't be one. It's one of those franchises Nintendo are smart about, if it came to DS then people could just buy that and not have a reason to buy a Wii, just like how Nintendogs has stayed DS only as has the main Pokemon series.

Yes.
Jump Ultimate Stars is over rated and complete crap. I need a real Smash for DS.

what, are you kidding me? jump ultimate stars is an amazing game.

No Im not. Its slow stiff and confusing. (My bias of all the shit anime/characters in the game aside) I just dislike the game.

For me, I'd say Smash Bros. as a series plays slower than JUS does. Also if it's confusing, and you haven't checked it out yet, I'd recommend look at Genroh's translation guide in GameFAQS, good stuff.

Also, I'm not sure how you could claim that the characters in that game are "shit", given that most of the biggest franchises got a representation (Naruto, Bleach, DBZ, Death Note, Fists of the North star I think it's called, D.Grayman, Hitman Reborn, Slam Dunk, Prince of Tennis, Captain Tsubasa, One Piece, Black Cat, Yu-gi-oh etc).

The only bad part about the game is the online. Aside from Japanese players ganging up against anyone with an english DS name, the glitches in that game are pretty bad. Oh and because of the huge roster, there's a massive imbalance in certain characters (But you could say that about any fighting game).

Aside from that, I don't see how JUS is crap (overrated maybe, but that's opinion).

Anyway, I agree with you though, Smash Bros on DS would be a good thing. And to all those people complaining about how it wouldn't work, do you know Nintendo at all? Nintendo's been famous for making the seemingly unworkable work. Translating Zelda and Mario (among others) to 3D and an analog stick? Zelda Phantom Hourglass? Touch screen in general? Translating Metroid in First person?

It may not be Smash Bros Brawl, but I guarantee it would be an excellent game (if they did do it).

I think a Smash DS game would be pretty simple to do. X + direction would be your tilts. A + direction would be smashes. B + direction would be your specials. Y would would be jump along with double tapping up for tap jump.

Have the game play like Smash 64 except with better defensive option. Spot dodging and power shielding would do wonders for the game.

Add like Mewtwo, Roy, Gannon, Bowser, and Isaac to the roster. Have the characters in sprite form in 3D environments.

Add Final Desitination, Battlefield, Fountain of dreams, Smashville, and Misery Mines to the stage list.

Would be cool. Wouldnt' have to be 3D either. 2D wold work just fine. Or something like 2.5D. :) They could make it work, I'm sure. Even online should be do-able. But honestly, I don't see it happening anytime soon. Then again, you never know with Nintendo. :p
