Jack Thompson is a lunatic attorney who wants to sue everyone. Usually for conjured reasons, and in the deluded conspiracy theories. Unfortunately he is a symptom or a terribly sick, ineffective, and corrupt legal system. The reality is that the process should have been far swifter to remove from a position where he can cause harm. Not only is he wasting valuable court time, but bilking the fine citizens of Florida of millions of dollars. That could have been spent on many and far more relevant legal matters.

I would rather not dwell on the fact that thanks to the legal systems inadequacy heinous lawyers like this can dance around for years making life miserable for so many. Not only is he permitted to file suit against everyone on the planet for obviously inadequate reasons. He manages to evade losing his license in a timely manner, has somehow avoided serious jail time, has not been committed, and now is permitted to blast innocent people with pornography. Even so we know he will not go to jail for this, and further more he will have his license to destroy for many years to come.

I despise everything this man stands for, and I long for a simpler time where he would have been run out of town in under a month, and if he persisted would receive the beating he so richly deserves. However I applaud the fact that he is making a laughing stock of the legal system in which he is working. Hopefully the citizens of Florida will cite his example as to exactly what is wrong with their legal system, and enact legislation to shut down these scumbags.

Lawyers are supposed to be held to a special standard for conduct. Unfortunately that special standard has turned into one where they can do whatever the hell they damn well please, and while us mere mortals would spend time in a cold dark cell for behaving like this. Their special status entitles them to what amounts to immunity. He will not spend a day in jail for this. He will just use the system to dance away with a white out of motions that will dead lock the system for years to come.

Thats who Jack Thompson is.

Oh, today is a good day. I played Halo 3 and Jake might get some "good time" with Bubba. But, yeah, as a Florida citizan and a gamer, I can't wait for him to get *** raped, figurativly and literally.

His insanity goes well beyond the video game witch hunt stuff. I think the day he does lose his liscense will be a day I gain a certain ammount of respect back for the legal system.
