Discuss.  (My opinion: This kid is full of ****.  If he was so smart, why didn't he get into a University.  My ranking for him is a sub B class genius.  An A class would be in UCs or Ivy league colleges.)

An ignorant genius? That's news to me.

Well, he has never had fun then. Especially playing with the Wii.

Well, it is a waste of time for him. With a brain like his, the thirst for learning is much higher than the thirst for entertainment. People are different, that's just the way it is.

This kid will grow up too quick and never have had a real childhood, teenage and young adulthood. The curse of being a genius I guess, you skip stages in the developmental process. 11 year old in college classes with people aged 19 or 20 and older would think: "what the hell is this child doing here?" He would just be another social misfit trying to fit into the cruel world.

I stopped reading after he was graduating from a community college in liberal studies. You know what? Those courses are DESIGNED for an 11 year old. Graduate from MIT with an engineering degree and I'll be impressed.

Ok I read on. He thinks that games dont help humanity? LOL man he's in for a shellshock. 99% of things in the world don't help humanity.

poor kid, hes throwing away his childhood. well what ever his loss i suppose, but i cant but fell a little sorry for him. i mean if i ever met him and he told me videogames were a waste of time, id punch him. but thats beside the point.

he's gotta learn that some times it's ok to take some time off and partake in a relaxing hobbies, ie gaming...after all we can't all be genius drones...XD

also the kids a hypocrite, he shouldn't sleep since it's a waist of time.

It could be as well that despite his genius, he simply can't play games cuz he's just crap in all genres, and because of that he's come up with this logic to justify him self, it's like fanboy syndrome.

Of course video games are a waste of time. Same with every other hobby people do for fun. Technically while I'm wasting my time playing Trash Panic or Cross Edge I could be doing research, I could study and better myself every waking moment of every day. But I don't because I like to have fun, apparently this kid doesn't have time for fun. Doesn't make him wrong though.
