A) I would consider 'ignorant' to be an insult
B) I'm not really interested in getting into an argument over this. I do not care if people laughed at this man's antics or at Sony's product.

Ok, "You made an ignorant statement"
Is that better?
Slightly, yes.
I just realised how incredibly off topic we've gone. Sorry OP *leaves thread*

Stop derailing threads and insulting people. |
Derailing? I'm talking about the topic at hand. Just because you don't like what I'm saying, you start trying to scare me? Well, you can go suck a big log. Nothing but a fanboy who can't handle the truth. Scary how many of you that has happened to by now.
Uhm, the thread isn't about people being dumb or anything, it's about the motion controller... so that (technically) is derailing it.
Anyway, it may not be a smart move to tell a moderator to "suck a log"...

What are you counting ? cause technology wise they're ahead.

Are you serious ?
@ Scottie you have no clue what you're talking about. Either watch the footage or keep being ignorant but don't bother the rest of us with it. They were laughing at the fact that the guy had a hard time hitting the ball then said "it's still hard" as it is in real life, and then he used various objects to try and hit it including a sword and finally a stopsign where he didn't hit it at first but when he moved it back . That's why people were laughing. And it was very funny.
They were also quite amazed at some of the stuff shown. Atleast judging from their reactions.
Seriously wtf.
i didnt get why it was funny. and when they showed the archery i wasnt thinking wow thats amazing i was thinking i just saw this 2 hours ago. seriously i dont get why sony's archery was anything better than nintendo's. i really hope people didnt think sony's was better because nintendo's was cartoony and a minigame whereas sonys was cool cos you were killing things

They didn't show anything in their demo that the Wii couldn't do, except the camera part taking a person to the screen.
That can be done with any camera, but it doesn't seem like a big deal so I don't see how Sony is ahead of Nintendo in any significant way.
