Forums - Nintendo - Wii Motion Plus $25 by itself. ouch Gamestop ad inside

Saving $15 will really help bundled games. TW 10 should set all sorts of records for golf games.

But its free with many games, I'm just gonna buy Red Steel 2 & get it!

Not free bundled, $10.

Wii games usually cost $50, w/ WM+ = $60. Look at ad for more clarification.

A while back it was listed MSRP as 20$ and gamestop has always listed it as 20$ so I am sure you can get it 20$ at other places.

Gamestop sucks.

BTW, if you really want to buy a standalone one, amazon.com seems to be selling them for $19:

I'm assuming that extra $5 is the Gamestop tax. MSRP is actually $20, isn't it?

I wouldn't be surprised, although I'm not sure it's legal to do that.

That's what they did to Wii Wheels, and nobody called the cops.

Good point, this may not be MSRP, maybe Gamestop is just being smart, knowing that non-bundled ones are going to be in short supply.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

This is going to really push those bundled games... Now I will most likely buy Tiger and Grand Slam in addition to WSR and RS2.

Completely off topic, but every time I see you post I only see what looks like Spock nibbling on Kirk's ear.

It's $25 in Canada so I'm suprised that it's $25 in the States. I think I'll get the Tiger Woods bundle then Wii Sports Resort once that comes out. I'll have to wait and see if there's a need/use for equiping all 4 wiimotes with it.

That's right, I remember that. Wii Wheels were $5 cheaper at walmart than GS. dirty bastards!!!!

Oh well, really no reason not to buy the bundled ones anyways.

If you wait for more bundles, you can't play multiplayer WM+ games for a while. For example if you buy Grand Slam Tennis and Wii Sports Resort, you can only play two player mode in late July.
