The natal is not revolutionary. It's just a plastic cheap gimmick and nothing special. Now the Wii on the other hand is revolutionary, its the first console to have motion controllers and its the best console ever.

It's not the first.
It's the first to have a great success with them - which is a Nintendo trend. Most of the things they get credit for they didn't create or invent, they found a way to turn them into wild success stories. Which obviously is a great merit on itself.

I never thought it was a concept video. I was not around this forum then, but when i saw it I said "Damn I want to try that" now. The Eye Toy has been around for a while now. Eye of Judgement was ok, but there have been no other big titles that use it for more then taking a picture in Burnout, or scanning your face for R6:Vegas. Same for the MS Vision camera(Even though you can use it for in game video chat on some arcade titles). Both of those cameras never lived up to much

Well the abilities of the ps eye are pretty vast. Sony just haven't exploided it properly yet.. but they're slowly starting too with their new wand and eye pet.
Am I the only one who thinks it will fail?
I PREDICT it sells moderately well, but the problem will be only a few mini-games and some avatar games use it. My prediction is no major full budget games will actually be created solely for the purpose of Natal.
i cant disagree with them. even my mom as impressed with natal. this has great potential.

I don't know if it'll fail, but it was at E3 just to generate buzz and IMHO it's just a testbed for the true Natal integration with the 720. Microsoft loves iterating.

Post Natal hype is high! You can see by that Microsoft had the biggest single announcement in Natal.
Tease.

i agree - well, maybe it's not a cheap plastic gimmick : P
Wii is the best console ever, and after the E3 and the great games that were shown for Wii i can't find how Nintendo can lose the war because of the Natal thing
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
