ea active doesnt weigh you, but its ten times better than wii fit

lots of people own scales other than it

i think it'll be ok

So why it will sell ten times less?

uhhhh what are you talking about?

when did i say sales?

ive been working out more or less daily with wii fit, i just got ea active, it works you way harder and in my mind is ten times better as far as getting you in shape.  wii fit is more for losing weight.

im not talking about sales, just saying that an exercise game doesnt HAVE to weigh you.

Wii Fit set a standart for exercise games. And that standart includes weight measuring. That's why it is in it's way to 30+ units sold, a mark that any other fitness game didn't manage even to remotely achieve.

any exercise game from now on as to top Wii Fit features or won't succeed as good as it. That's a given.

a couple of things

1.besides the obvious trolll thread, and your horrid sig. I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

2. Natal i see it being just as good as wii fit if not better than.

3. it will be able to do so many things that wiifit can't

4. And you can step on a weight than show it to the camera. problem solved

... it can't tell you your weight

I realized that while I'm using my balance board now as a support table for my laptop.

Anyone with an exercise game wants to know they're improvements in weight loss, a camera can't tell you that!!!!

I $5 scale can tell you that though, so I fail to see the big deal. Go to Target.

Also I'm not sure why you're assuming everyone that excercises is trying to lose weight. That isn't the case at all. I excercise daily and I don't want to drop a single pound.

You underestimate the power of the Natal. It knows your weight. It knows your name. It knows what you did that night after you saw the musical, "Cats". I'm not kidding.

Oh god. Milo knows about my furious bout of masturbation?

The real question here is whether or not Milo will be as tramatized finding out about that, as I have.  Some thing I DON'T need to know, dude.

Wait, you are talking about putting bait on a hook so you can fish, and how much you are an expert at it, and how often you have done it, and the excited state you got into.  Ok, Milo might be interested in that.

Carry on...

1) Its not a troll thread since it brings out a valid point. Natal can't weight you.

2) Natal is better than Wii Fit? Maybe. Let's compare it with Wii Fit Plus when it cames out. Or Wii Fit Ultimate if Natal takes long and Nintendo pulls out another Wii Fit.

3) Wii Fit and futures iterations also will allow to do many things Natal doesn't so..............

4)That's not solving a problem, its skipping it.

So, you mean that scales have all of a sudden disappeared from the world?  How exactly to fitness centers work to help people lose weight, if the equipment doesn't measure your weight?

Also, Natal isn't supposed to be a balance board, but rather a motion sensing tech ala the Wiimote.

If MS wants to make even more silly periphals like Nintendo, I'm sure they could.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

Natal maybe able to do other things. For instance with the multiple cameras Natal could possible take measurements that Wii Fit and the balance board does not.

You could always tell Natal what your weight is. Now before you say that is a negative that WiiFit doesnt have tell me dont you have to tell WiiFit your height?

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Yea, but also Natal can't tell you how tall you are.

For people talking about scales:

Of cource there's scales for ~10$ around the stores. That's not the point. It's the point that it now is a standart for exercising games, because it is fun to see you wheight on TV in a graph and all that kinky stuff, not it a scale.

Last I saw Natal in action, it couldn't even accurately detect a 360 degree body turn. It has to do that and much more if it is to get a good exercise game.

i just skimmed through your posting history.

and since when is it the standard? I bought wii fit and was depressed about my purchase almost immediately. I'm not saying that i won't be with natal though.

and as a couple of people have said before. You cand just say your weight.
