i wonder if this will be like crackdown. its about an agent and made by a bunch of GTA people too.

I've heard about games that were going to be the next GTA since... GTA III. I'm kind of sick about that analogy.

Other than that, the article contained a lot of crap, and some interesting notes. I wonder what he bases his estimation of the length of this console cycle on.

^There is many possibilities. One is that HD games cost much more to develop, so to make the profit that developers are used to and want, they need more time for development costs to go down and for more games to make more sales for them. Also, we haven't seen a GT or a FF this gen yet. In the last gen we saw 2 of each. I'm sure that's the case for many other games accross the platforms as well.

Yeah but those were clones from Namco, THQ and many others. This is a statement coming from RockStar itself.
