I'm sure they were respectful to each other and even though it is a competitor, Miyamoto surely admired the technology as it is a very interesting tech.

I think two great developers had an interesting experience. One, a golden god of gaming, and another, an aspiring great, whom has never had that one big megaton game to move him into the hall of the gods, where Kojima and Miyamoto walk alone.
