Exactly, sure many people will play the game if it is free. But they can't gurantee how many people will actually pay for in-game items. It would be better for them to just have a monthly subscription fee. And yes I do agree paying the fee is usually always better.

FFXI is $13 per month. I don't expect this to be free. Even if it is free, it would be only couple of months. Alot of MMO games starting out free then later charging to play.

I don't mind paying the XBL fee, but damn, I will NOT pay a monthly fee for a game I already purchased.



Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

You will not have to pay the XBL fee. If it follows the same way as FFXI, you can play on a Silver Membership. And i'm pretty sure they will do the one-month free thing again like they did with FFXI. It helps people know if they want to hit it or quit it.

Even the site says "subscription fees TBA" This might mean that there may be a free version + members version (runescape ish)
