This is as psychic as claiming a game as the greatest RPG of all time based off a video trailer... I'm pretty sure Agent will be the greatest action game of all time based on the logo released and the previous games made by R*...

seems I've said that before.  Just because I disagree with one person saying  that the next Zelda will definitely be better than the next Ico doesn't mean I agree with the silly statement of the OP.  If you read the thread you'd see that I even corrected the OP about the genre.

How do we know it is even going to be an RPG? When has the Team Ico folks ever did an RPG? They did action-adventure games. This seems similar. Not sure where the RPG comes in... well, unless you want to argue that Zelda is an RPG. Do you want to go there?

well of course it is.

you take a role, play it. and on top of that its a game hence rpg.

Isn't that true for most videogames, outside of Tetris?  In some sense, videogames are more RPGs then what is said to be an "RPG".  However, as defined, there are things that mark a game as an RPG these times, which is primarily stat-building to advance a storyline.

It's not about which game would be better in the future or what genre the games are in.

I just found it odd that based on how ridiculous OP's statement was, you are picking on how ridiculous TX's statement is. If anyone can start a thread this ridiculous, it deserves to have ridiculous responses.

It will beat FF7 easily. :D

I guess people who first played it view it with rose colored glasses but I am currently playing it again (a couple of hours into it) after playing X, XII, IV, III, V, VI, VIII and I think gameplay wise it is very primitive. I got bored with it pretty quickly last time I played it (2 years ago). 

I may have to change my opinion once I have finished it.
