LOL "it's not exclusive cause it's on PC" now say this to a 360 game that is also on PC and they will make up some excuses why it's exclusive.

IMHO they should exempt xbox live fees on it just like they did with FFXI even if it's F2P.

The game is not confirmed free to play, show me source that it is confirmed free to play or I call this bullshit rumor that some fanboy trying to create some hype on the game. IMO this game will never be Free To Play because if it does it'll kill FFXI and I dont think SE want to kill their most profit cash cow. on avg people pay like $15 a month for FFXI and thats is $180 a year multiply it by 250k user base and you get insane amount of profit every year.

now stfu with this F2P rumor that even the original poster have no proof of it. I would love to have it F2P but until a reliable source can confirm it, This dicussion is pointless.

Free to play is getting more popular as bandwidth is cheaper than it was 8 years ago, people are more accustomed to buying DLC, and there is a market full of games trying to charge a monthly fee and constant number of people who are willing to pay the fee.

I think the rumor has validity, though FF might be big enough to pull consumers.  It will be competing with DC and the Agency.  I do not think there are enough people on any console to justify charging any more with the glut of MMOs we are about to see.
