Forums - Sony - E3: Yamauchi: We could release GT5 now

GT5 Prologue 2 confirmed? sorry, but it's highly doubtful it would be game you would want to buy for 60$ considering how GT5 should look like.
just like i wrote in different thread:

"well they we're able only to come up with GT5P after 3-4 years of working on full game that was pretty much GT4 with better graphics and content completely not related to game itself(GT TV) and just before or after Prologue release they claimed that they will soon add damage system. so now 2 years later we will get not only full game but we will have complete damage system, about 600-800cars, 90+tracks(and they HAVE to make completely new tracks just for WRC racing so they can't just remade pst GT tracks), specially made physics for WRC racing(offroad racing is different than racing on street tracks) especially when for the past few years they were making a psp game as well?

really how can i doubt them, right?"

We could ... But were not.

Kinect as seen by PS3 owners ...if you can pick at it   ...post it ... Did I mention the 360 was black and Shinny? Keeping Sigs obscure since 2007, Passed by the Sig police 5July10.

So much bullshit in such a short statement:

"I want to release it as fast as I can,"
"when you talk about its status, it's at a point we can release it any time we want,"

then why isnt it out yet?

The sticky nature of software design. (And why we have to have managers.)

more like: there's a point where you actually have to start working on the game.

come on, GT Mobile was announced before PSP launch and after 6 years of development they came with pretty much GT3/GT4 port with few tweaks here and there? i'm really glad i'm getting this, i really do, but normal team would do this in less than 2 friggin years.

same goes with Gran Turismo 5 - this game should be made in 4 years at best.

If it were anywhere close to being released it would have had a demo and more than a CGI mixture trailer for it.

Here is what I think has happend. They have been working to much on GT PSP and not GT 5 or they saw how polished Forza 3 was and decided not to show their stuff and be upstaged.

Waron _ you actually think that GT5P was everything they had done at the time? I doubt it. It was just a small sample. A couple of cars from the manufactures and a couple of tracks
