Forums - Gaming - Pre-E3 poll makes me chuckle.

Results - 19/05/09

VGC Poll: What do you want to see at E3?
Microsoft motion control 529 7.64%

Sony motion control 911 13.16%

PSP2 1,754 25.33%

New Mario or Zelda 2,628 37.95%

New Wii Peripheral 161 2.32%

MGS4 on the 360 942 13.60%

6,925

What's funny about this poll is that every single item on the list came true. Yeah, the PSP Go might not be a true PSP 2, but it's a pretty radical hardware revision. And the 360 isn't getting MGS4, but it is getting a new Metal Gear game.

Just goes to show how incredibly packed with goodies this E3 has been.

effectively, everyone (almost) got what they wanted...nice.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

It would seem way more than 21% of people on here are most excited for HD motion... weird.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Haha thats pretty awesome. Yet it wont stop the dumbfucks from arguing.

Anyways this E3 has been the best E3 since the 2 years Ive started taking gaming serious. 07 08 failed 09 is win all around.

Well, to give the benefit of the doubt, people only get to pick one option. So there could be plenty of people who are happy to see new motion controllers for the HD consoles who are more excited about Metal Gear on the 360 or the new Mario games.

I agree Valkyria00, I think all three companies "won" this year. Lots of exciting announcements for near and distant future.

I was just joking... the funny thing is, I was very opposed to HD motion but after seeing the demos. Now, I think that both are going to have positive effects on gaming in the long run and am now excited. I do not think either is gonna set the world ablaze or change the sales trends of this gen but still very positive for gaming and tech.

Yup. All companies are strong right now. No matter what console you own there are games coming. Its just so good all around. I love it.

based on the poll, most people want new Mario or Zelda... Nintendo delivered not one but two new Mario games and people are still disappointed... talking about hard to please...

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
