If you have a vengeful attitude, sure... But I like to vary my spots and not pick a fight with a same dude for more than 2 minutes. It's pointless. :/

So with this shooty MP mode and the gameplay demo at E3 has this game changed genre from action to TPS?

No.

Everything in the MP was already in the first game... It's just been IMPROVED a lot.

Hehe, just played a great round, a nice 9 kills 2 deaths.... if you use the environment well you can get loads of kills, and the FAL is awesome

God it has stopped working again.... anyway, this is looking great, this and MW 2 should keep me very very busy this November

I got 51 kills on my last co-op game, it was awesome!

I don't seem to be able to get into any matches, no matter how long I wait.

You know... this beta kind of sucks because of the host stuff they've decided to go with. I always get matched with people that can't play the game right (why give them the privilege of a beta if that's the case? There should be a detector for that...!) that just don't want to finish a single Co-op match. The host disconnects, then me and the other player just go back to the matchmaking screen. Wtf?

It fricking blows. I've been trying to finish one Co-op match since yesterday. I guess it will never happen... >_>

First post here, because I was looking around online for a place to discuss the beta. Seems like a good community.

One great thing about Uncharted 2 MP that hasn't been mentioned here - and this is perhaps my favorite part of the beta - is how it matches you with similar players. Most games match you aganist people who have the same experience level, and this one does too at first, but if you aren't very good and get the crap kicked out of you, the next game it will match you up with people of a lower experience level. At first I didn't like having to get matched with new people each game, but I've grown to love it because it keeps me from getting too frustrated. It makes the games more even, and therefore more fun. One of my biggest complaints with playing Call of Duty 4 is late at night the multiplayer is filled with people who are ridiculously good (and likely play the game all day long, every day), and I get tired of getting the crap kicked out of me and turn it off. But that's not a problem with Uncharted 2. It's good times.
