Forums - Sony - PS3 Saving question

With the release of FF7 on the PSN, I'm curious if I can play my FF7 disk based save files (saved on a virtual memory card on my ps3) on the new downloadable FF7.

Other than that, any speculation on FF8, FF9, or Tactis on PSN?

good question, I don't know, but I doubt it. sorry

Yes, but why would you download FF7 when you have it on your disk???

download it for your psp so you can take it with you on the go? only reason I can think of :)

My discs aren't in the greatest shape- so I'd love a clean version of this game.

I would say yes. PS1 original games use a virtual memory card whether you download them or play them from a disc. I downloaded Destruction Derby and I've played Resident Evil from a disc and the process was the same.

Tease.

That was what I had hoped. Thanks Squil

Yes, and you can also copy the memory card to the PSP, and copy FF VII to the psp to play on the go =D

You're a dirty poster... You're tempting me to get a PSP! :/ I didn't know you could do that.
