Interesting, if this is true then I have to wonder if lower sales are partly due to redirected consoles in Japan. It seems more likely to me that seasonal market factors brought sales down and then Wiis were redirected. Given the context of the Japanese hardware sales being down accrossed the board it wouldn't make sense for just the Wii to be due to a seperate factor.
