Going to them for Wii news is like asking Hitler for the nearest synagogue. In their pre-E3 trailer advertising the event, an image of the Wii wasn't even shown in the video.

Shams posted yesterday a negative post about Nintendo's E3. I found his response quite fair. This article is quite harsh. I have said it before Ninendo showed some great stuff at E3 but those games are great for the casual audience and the Nintendo fans.

If a friend of me didn't wanted a Wii for SMG and Metroid how can I try to convince him with SMG 2 and the new Metroid? Convincing to get them a DS is easy but not for the Wii because it doesn't had a great new Ip or new Franchise that convince the 'I don't want a Wii' crowd.

If KH3/GTA san Andreas 2 or something like that was shown it would be a lot easier.

What did they give sony and microsoft? I can't get ont G4 atm sadly.

I do love that these so-called "Nintendo fanboys" only come out of the woodwork to trash Nintendo.

I thought they did pretty decent. The middle section was a bit boring, but it picked up.

Agree with the OP completely, it was exactly my analysis of their show.

Then again - I don't think they really care (about E3) anymore. They care about sales, and will have the top sellers (again) this Xmas...
