Forums - Microsoft - "For 360/PC" is an exclusive for 360 (Reasons)

Microsft doesn't get any money from PC games, unless they're the ones developing/publishing it.

I suppose they get some royalties if the game uses Games for Windows Live, though.

But very few actually do, and it personally puts me off a game if it uses Windows Live. Only big games that come to mind are Fallout 3 and Gear of War 1.

The Games For Windows brand is also free to use (Live or no Live). But atleast they should be getting some money from the DLC they're selling in GFWL.

Console exclusives don't matter. No matter how many times microsoft throws the words exclusive at certain games, the word loses its merit because you can play the same games on another platform (pc). I could avoid buying an xbox 360 and buy a game I want for my pc. Console exclusives don't give credit to a gaming console because they're not true exclusives. True exclusives are what makes consumers want to buy a particular console. That's what made the playstation and playstation 2 very successful.

There was some problem with my post above.

It's very amusing that someone who has never touched a 360 can play the so called "360 exclusives".

My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957

To me anything that says "PC/360," "PC/PS3," or "PC/360/PS3" is actually saying "PC exclusive."

Given the option, I will always purchase a superior PC version of a game over an inferior console version of the same game.

If a console version were superior then I would go with that, but it's almost never the case.

I'd almost say these are words of wisdom :p

or if Microsoft publishes the 3rd party game..they could get money from that

I AM BOLO

100% lover "nothing else matter's" after that...

ps:

Proud psOne/2/3/p owner.  I survived Aplcalyps3 and all I got was this lousy Signature.

I don't even care what this thread is about anymore....I don't even care if I posted in it before...All I have to say is this.....
Now that E3 has come and gone....Can you say that one console sharing a game with PC makes it non exclusive?.....
Here is something I saw during E3

When Asked if FFXIV is exclusive for PS3

Sony Rep "If a Third Party show's a game during our Press conference it is definitely exclusive. We are not like our Competitor.Yes FFXIV is PS3 exclusive"
Square Enix:
"FFXIV is for PS3 and PC currently. We are looking at all options, so a Xbox 360 version is possible"
OWNED!

I can avoid buying same game on PC and BTW PC/360 still is Exclusive to Microsoft. I will say it again Xbox 360/Playstation 3/Wii are in competition with eachother the PC is all by it's loneseome except with a little MAC competition at times. Give it up you can't win! No different than PS3/PC game it is still a Playstation 3 exclusive. Why might you ask... Well because no other console has the title simple concept nuff said next question...moving on!

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

agree im tired of the arguments the 360 dosnt have any exclusives casue theyre coming out on PC. ITS console exclusitivity and neither of the other consoles are getting it.

I vote that everyone just ignores the PC Elitist. They cry anytime we don't give the PC love. If we stop acknowledging them maybe they will go away.
