Only believe what a VP of Marketing says once it actually happens; and even then double check for accuracy.

Doesnt Sony's fiscal year run April-April or something to that effect. So.....technically speaking February/March 2010 sounds about right.

So when did MAG and ModNation Racers become proven franchises, and Uncharted isn't really a proven title either its one of those games that everyone talks about, but doesn't get a whole lot of love from anybody but hardcore.

Not to mention the quotes of "Only possible on Playstation"???
quite honestly GT5 doesn't look any better then Forza3, in fact in lots of ways Forza 3 looks beter.
ModNation Racers looked more like a Mario Kart knockoff.
Uncharted 2 did look amazing though and in my opinion was the best of what Sony had to show but MS seems to have a counter with a similar game in Alan Wake which looked about equal.

My guess is that Sony wants to push the PSP to the max this year.
Look at all those games announced for the PSP.

They didn't show much GT5 stuff this E3 probably because they don't want GT5 to over shadow GT PSP. Since Sony shifted a lot of their focus onto the PSP this year.

There are about 3 possibilities over the release

1. It just won't be out this year
2. They really don't know whether it will come this year, they are aiming for December, but it probably won't make it
3. They will announce its release date with the slim, and it will be a slim launch title
