well, I've played FF11 for awhile too, if 14 is anything like 11 though, count my ass out lol.

So you've paid $936 to play a single game, and call that "not much"??!
Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.
oh I totally forgot my other top moment, the entire MS Natal showing, OMG HAHAHAHAHA, I haven't laughed that hard at any E3 before in my life, that was too much, my stomach was literally hurting.

Not much to me. I love Final Fantasy, and XI is well worth it if you can commit to the game.
1. The Last Guardian -- PS3
2. Metroid: Other M -- Wii
3. Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker -- PSP
4. Mario Galaxy 2 -- Wii
5. Final Fantasy XIV -- PS3 exclusive
Honorable Mention (not in order)
Learning that Fragile was coming to America
Golden Sun DS
Several great single player action adventures to be able to pick from God of War III (kudos on not going co-op), Brutal Legend, Uncharted 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Assassin's Creed 2, and the Saboteur (All looked good in different ways). It's my favorite genre (or up there with rpgs) and in this age where community, casual, and social are being stressed its great to see they are still being made

tbh it's cheaper than friends or girlfriends if you are not rich and need entertainment, if you have those though, really, just.... don't play MMO, it sucks the life out of you, especially something as slow as FF11.

I'll be honest FFXI does suck your soul out. But it is a good way to meet friends and have fun. Well worth the money that you spend on it. You just need to commit to it. FFXI is really hard to start out in, but once you get it...it's a blast!
Yes, they did pay for most of subscription. But now I have a part time job and pay for it myself, graduation in 2 weeks...woot!
