How about we wait until IN GAME graphics for GT5 are shown, and people play it, along with Forza 3 getting out and people playing that, or at least some reviews?
What I see with Gran Turismo is the answer to everything being, "MORE CONTENT". Whenever a new Gran Turismo comes out, they add more cards, tracks, race types, etc... They do also update physics, but it is more. It is akin to a 2 foot long hotdog in Vegas, where you are blown away by the size. As for your liking the taste, that would depend on your taste buds. There are some who don't like the taste of Gran Turismo, particularly when it didn't have car damage.
Forza goes off in customizing route, allowing crazying customizing. It is all about tweaking.
