Forums - Gaming - GT5 vs Forza 3

i've the feeling that by the time it's released we'll end up comparing GT5 to Forza4...right now all i can see is an impressive (and unespected given the little time passed since its announcement) showcase of a soon to be released game VS another bunch of trailers of a duke-nukem-forever-like racing game.

From the videos we have seen.
GT5>Forza3, by a lot.

From the content we have heard of...
GT:Portable > Forza3

Wow, I am being surprised by everyone's opinions on the forums lately.

Well I need to get that GT trailer on my PS3 before I judge, though at one point I was convinced they were just showing a real car. Anyway, GT PSP looks incredible, and has double the cars of Forza 3!

Ummm how bout I say that Forza 3 is the best one releasing in 2009 and GT5 is the best one releasing in 2010!

Tease.

Hard to really compare much right now since GT5 might has well not even shown up with what little we learned from its "appearance".

Some screenshots to compare. Both are not in-game most likely.

PS3 fans have to wait to 2010 to get their good games.

How bout wait until one of them comes out?

How about we wait until IN GAME graphics for GT5 are shown, and people play it, along with Forza 3 getting out and people playing that, or at least some reviews?

What I see with Gran Turismo is the answer to everything being, "MORE CONTENT".  Whenever a new Gran Turismo comes out, they add more cards, tracks, race types, etc...  They do also update physics, but it is more.  It is akin to a 2 foot long hotdog in Vegas, where you are blown away by the size.  As for your liking the taste, that would depend on your taste buds.  There are some who don't like the taste of Gran Turismo, particularly when it didn't have car damage.

Forza goes off in customizing route, allowing crazying customizing.  It is all about tweaking.
