On the whole Ign's rating are about 10-15% higher because of their better understanding of they way the wiimote is supposed to be used. My 10 year old nephew understood the controls of zelda better than gamespot.

The forthcoming highly rated games of Wii

hmm..

Confirmed :-

Resident Evil UC (if it implements online co-op play and downloadable levels)

Super Mario Galaxy

Smash Brothers Brawl (now that online play isconfirmed)

Zak & Wiki (if it has replay value)

Medal Of Honor Heroes 2 (with 32 player FPS online play its a winner)

Possibility :-

Batalion Wars 2 (if nintendo can implement advanced online features and clan support)

Dragon Blade ( with the team or panzer dragoon working they need to perfect the controls and gameplay)

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (the dev's can make or break the wii version, if they give it enough time the wii version with motion controls+wireless guitar is a winner)

I have an ongoing data sheet comparing IGN's reviews for a variety of consoles and across the entire Wii library there is literally only about a 2% difference between IGN and Gamespot. The only reason that Wii fans have an issue with Gamespot is because they did not provide lavish praise to Metroid and Zelda, which in turn has created the impression that IGN is more generous towards the Wii. On average, over the entire library of games, IGN appears to rate gameplay on the Wii at about the same level that the likes of Gamespot does.
