Forums - Gaming - The Waggle is dead.

Now that everyone and their mother showed motion sensing controllers, can we finally agree that this form of input to videogames has established itself as a standard control option?

Thus, we can finally put the Waggle-arguments to rest.

I can sense there will be a lot of hypocrisy in this thread!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

And I sense there will be lots of generalizing people and assuming they're happy with motion controls on their console.

I don't like it with Wii, didn't like what Sony showed.  I simply don't prefer motion controls, no matter the console.

...

You are forgetting that some people will still never like waggle.
THe showings by Sony and MS are merely an attempt to try their hand at expanded audience. I believe they will still use standard controllers for most games.

You sir deserve a tip of the cap for this statment. *tips cap*

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?

I guess this is true but I'm having fun reminding myself of some fanboys keep calling the Wiimote waggle who now are praising it... Very ironic and proves some people become brain dead when it comes to these things and the internet.

Pretty much sums up what I was going to say.

Much more eloquently as well.
