Ok, but you aren't playing NATAL this year, or probably even this gen, so then MS's conference was only slightly better than Ubi's

packaging of the games (the actual presentation) was booooooring.

The games itself were topnotch (just forget the casual stuff)

Best I could have hoped for. Mario and Metroid are my favourite franchises and I want to get into Golden Sun.

Even for the parts that don't cater to me, I seriously admire their marketing talent.

Thats exactly why i gave my low rating. If more core games such as a new pikmin, zelda, starfox, + a new IP were present the conference would have succeded in its purpose relative to me. That purpose being convincing me to buy a wii instead of mooching of my neighbor. The xbox conference however showed enough content to convince me that providing I am not broke the next time the pro goes on sale I will jump back in.

Natal's a peripheral and I'm highly skeptical about it in the first place. You're not going to catch me in a contradiction based on that. I did however see MS create a great late summer and fall lineup in all of two hours though(Shadow Complex, Splinter Cell, Forza 3, Left 4 Dead 2), in addition to two supposedly good titles for 2010(Alan Wake and Halo Reach). Nintendo definitely has a wealthy headstart for 2010, but where is the Fall lineup at for this year?

Do note, I am speaking entirely about the Wii. I feel Nintendo is always consistently on the ball with the DS and I love them for it. However, the Wii seems to have consistently been shunned the section of upstream games Nintendo was throwing out on a monthly basis back in 2007 on the Wii and continues to give the DS to this day.

Solid overall, but definitely not spectacular.

Mario Galaxy 2 will be great-but when can I play it? Mario Bros will be good, but is that and Wii Fit Plus all you have for the end of 09, Nintendo? I thought they'd learn lessons from last year's poor year-end lineup. I did not see the Metroid announcement coming, and it was a great looking trailer-but it's a 2010 title. I was really hoping for more Wii announcements coming this year. Also disappointed they haven't elaborated on Cosmic Walker or Sin and Punishment 2 at the conference.

DS wise they did great-a little disappointed they detailed those teen girl and book club things. But Zelda, Mario + Luigi 3, WarioWare DIY, Mario v DK and Flip Book Studio this year=fantastic. Plus Kingdom Hearts looked great. And to top it off... Golden Sun!! Amazing!! I don't mind that being a 2010 release.

Big downer for me that there wasn't another big title for Wii teased-I wasn't expecting Zelda,but something new or Pikmin 3 or one of their lesser used franchises would have been nice.

So, on the DS front-9/10, very pleased, Golden Sun really topped off an impressive showing for me.

Wii-wise-6/10. Sorry, but they need to try harder. What the hell was Wii Vitality Sensor? That's the first time I've watched Iwata at a press conference and been absolutely gutted. Sure, the tech could be great-but there was no application of it whatsoever. Made it seem a bit pointless. I really hope Nintendo push themselves more in terms of Wii development.

Need to add when you nearing the end of the presentation when you should be looking to build up to a strong ending using 3 3rd party games that are coming out as soon as 3 weeks from now smells as filler material. Damn we need to make this thing longer. Hey lets add The Conduit to the show.

I liked it, the DS announcements were great
The new Metroid game, looks amazing so yeah
only thing i was hoping for was just one more new entry into a game series, like kirby, fzero, or starfox
but still very happy with what we got. OH and GoldenSun, My brother screamed when he heard this news
