Forums - Microsoft - Forza 3 looks very very good - how many dvd`s will it use?

I gather Forza 3 must have blown GT5 out of the water this week given all the usual Sony fanboy trolls have come out to play. That being said this was all this thread was ever designed to do, mission accomplished OP.

Nah, I don't really care.

I think what really tickled off the trolls is the revelation that while Turn 10 delivers two Forza's on the 360 PD is busy making GT PSP and GT5 is a backburner project.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Do we know how much data there is? It may only be 200-300mb that they just couldn't squeeze onto the first DVD, in which case ALL 360 owners can play it as everybody should have at least 512mb from the free memory card NXE promo.

if it was only 200meg or so it would have just been dlc for free.

when i finally get the game i will install the 2nd dvd and report my findings on how much space it requires.

that's for the idiots who brought the acrade....
Everyonw who has a HDD dont have to worry ( unless it adds up to 20 Gb or more lol)

the 2nd disc is just a data transfer...

You can't call people idiots who wanted to get into HD gaming for cheap. That's what the $199 price point is for. And it may be "just a data transfer" but everyone's been touting that Forza 3 has 400 cars and blah blah blah....but they don't even fit on one disc, so what's the point. If I was Arcade owner and I wanted to drive a Maserati (just an example, I dunno if it's actually in the game or not), but had to swap the disc just to drive it....but couldn't drive it on the map I wanted because that's on the first disc.....that causes problems, doesn't it?

I'm sorry for that comment to  it's hard to feel bad for people who should know ( esp. u since u seem like an avid gamer) who have an arcade cuz it's cheap. I feel like they were eitehr being suckered or didnt want to pay an extra 100 bucks ( now I think it's 30) to have something that's needed with their system.

So you pay $60 to play half of the game if you're an arcade owner...?

And... How many arcade gamers actually like racing sims enough to buy Forza 3? Anyone who bought an arcade either had a broken Pro and bought a new arcade, or is gonna play casual games on it. Not Forza 3. So I don't really see the problem.
