I'm just saying that PS3 owners shouldn't feel betrayed here. It's something that has happened many times before.

MGS3 and 4 were probably exclusive more due to a lack of a good platform to port them to, rather than from any loyalty to Sony.

Concidering they all got ps3 for mgs4. So it isn't showing respect to gamers. Atleast the ones that cares about his games.

Its nothing to do with kojima. If konami say 'get on that microsoft stage' he has to do it, simple as. And i assume thats exactly what MS paid konami to tell him to do

so the xbox became a worse platform for mgs3 and the xbox360 has become better since mgs4 ?

I don't really care for the reasons though, as long as i'll get it on my ps3 i don't mind.

The only reason Sony got franchises like Final Fantasy, MGS, Tekken, etc. exclusive in the first place was because at the time those games were impossible on the N64 (because of cartridge-only) and the Sega Saturn was a train wreck and a commercial failure.

Sony was the only option. The PS2 won the last generation before the GameCube and XBox even came out. So again they retained their hold on third parties. That is not the case anymore.

Those third parties don't owe Sony anything. Sony benefitted tremendously for years. If Nintendo and Sega had the same third party support as Sony did back in the day, it's very likely Sony would not have come close to dominating in the past, the situation then would've been more like it is today with Sony in a dog fight. 

Is Kojima a ninja? You realize that not all Japanese people are ninjas, right? That's the equivalent to saying of an American developer "he is going against the marine code 'Semper FI'". Also, I think you're confusing ninjas with samurai. Ninjas didn't really have honor. They were assassins, and prefered to kill people in their sleep. Barring that, they would attempt to blind you/poison you before a fight if possible.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Lets not get out of hand. If any brand is synonymous with gaming, it's Nintendo. It's only Sony if you're relatively young or weren't into gaming before 10 years ago.

as long is the game is great then i dont care what system its on. business is business. if he wants to sell more copies of his games then he will put it on as many platforms as he can.

In america.

In europe it's sony. Sony were the first to take the european market. Previously to the ps1 it was like a third of the american one if not less.
