Every week there is a thread from someone who is complaining about the "Most Popular Games" section or members who saying that section is biased.

I have an idea to stop this complaining FOREVER!

We should change the "Most Popular Games' section into an 'Most Popular Game for every system' section.


Every month someone should make a thread called 'Choose the Wii game of the month'

In that thread Wii owners can vote for the Wii game of the month!

And we should also make threads for the DS/PSP/PS3/XBOX 360 game of the month.

And then we post them into the 'Most popular game for every system' section.

Example:


"Most Popular Games for every system section'

Month X

DS:
Pokemon Dungeouns

PS3:
Warhawk

PSP:
FF Crisis core

Wii:
Metroid Prime 3

Xbox 360:
Bioshock

(This list is made by the opinion of the VGCHARTZ members system owners)


PS 1: - People can not vote with a poll but have to type it in a post.
(Because maybe some fanboys would make new accounts and choose a sucky game)
- People with an postcount under 100 posts can not vote to.
(Because maybe some fanboys would make new accounts and choose a sucky game).

PS 2: - You should post the systems in this order: DS, PS3, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360 because it is alphabetical.
If you would post it like this: Wii, PSP, DS , PS3, Xbox 360 people maybe would complain why Wii is first and why Xbox 360 is last.

PS 3: THIS IS ONLY A SUGGESTION!! Please don't call this STUPID or just bash it.
(I only want to stop the bad publicity of VGCHARTZ ON MANY FORUMS and with this their is less reason to call VGCHARTZ biased)

I have a better solution: Remove the rankings completely and only leave the database.

No more childish whining and even better, no kids flooding our servers trying to make a game rank higher.

 I would prefer that people can vote , it makes the members more active and maybe some members love to vote.  Of course your idea is good to but that would be so harsh for the people who helped to create the database :s.

This suggestion was brought up in pretty much every obligatory ranking bitchfest. I don't think ioi or the mods want to, or should, bend over backwards over some rankings for the few, especially when some of those few that screamed the loudest are now permabanned.

ok claude, we are offering suggestions to make this site seem a little less biased looking, there is alot of people saying our site is biased, thanks to the overwhelming ammount of wii lovers here (which is NOT bad thing!) but since they voted for nintendo games etc, it makes the site seem biased.
