Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft Whacks the Wii

if you like the Wii, you should love this. Now all MS has to do is 1) make a fair price 2) Get developer-support for this 3) bundle it with a game just like Wii Play.

No, I should want to try it, which I do. When I bought my Wii I got Wii Sports (included, but a great game) and Twilight Princess (good old Nintendo goodness.) For me at least the Wii is very good at making the transition from casual to core more seamless. So far this looks like one of two sides of a divide and therefore more difficult to convert the casual.

And number two is a pretty big part of "all."

I don't really get what you're trying to say

People are massively deluded, thinking Wii's main selling point is waggle. Still nice move, MS, but I have a feeling we won't see new thing till X720.

I also think this wont see full fuition untill the next Xbox, but if they can get it started well (like they did with XBLA on Xbox) they can work from there especially if it's compatible with the next system.  I think Microsoft is going to do transitional... and not full blown upgrade for the next system.  I expect not a price drop next, but the addition of this in every Arcade unit.

So what? They have to sell their fish!!!

They have families to support. If I made a phone I would rant about iPhone sucking ballz just to be in the same level as Apple and have media recognition.

I think some of you are kind of missing the point. It may track your body, but that doesn't stop you from using a bat or a club to give some real tactile feel to the game. I also think that the Wii will do just like it has been doing. I do think that exercise games on the Wii could be done much better on the 360's Natal... I can already see EA porting over their games. What's really neat about this is that we may just be able to see some cross platforms with the 360 and Wii as both use a very similar architecture.

So instead of LCD TV's destroyed by a WII controller now they will be destroyed by real clubs, bat and so on? ;)

lol, i thought they only gave a damn about Sony?

Jeez, gettin abit haughty now eh MS?
