Forums - Gaming - Natal: Playing Is Believing

I really doubt it will ever be released. But who knows..

looks pretty bleh to me

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m

Like I said on your wall Rol, I believe Microsoft can make it work, they have the money to fund this after all. Let's wait and see!

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

I think you're being too pessimistic. Sure it ain't going to be what the most hopeful of the hopeful want it to be (somewhat like the Wiimote, only more so). Nonetheless, I think this thing has a ton of potential. I'm skeptical that it will see any real developer support, so it's likely wasted potential, but that just makes me so much more sad.

But I have to say that I wasn't all that impressed with Milo.

The video was acted out.
What's going to be really crucial is both bundling, actual games, and awareness.

Apparently Ubisoft just made Natal already obsolete. A motion sensing camera is coming along with a Ubisoft fitness game.

So the Wii will have the camera by the holidays, plus WM+ plus the balance board.

In other words, any casuals who might be interested in Natal can just get the same tech for their Wii.

Apparently, there was a closed-door presentation of the Milo demo to a selected members of the audience after the conference... So I guess it was not acted out.

any proof?

sorry to badger you but i'll only believe it when i see it.

that spazzing girl kept doing the same motions the whole time, it kinda made me wonder if it could read any other motions. The real problem with those games is that they just don't look fun, i mean anyone could have made the wiimote but it was wii sports that made it a hit.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

So they invited a member of the press and their family to use the Natal, recorded it and edited it into a trailer, went back in time to show it at the Microsoft Press Conference?

The trailer was acted out and in my opinion, the acting was a bit much and I hope that you don't have to make movements like that. However after seeing the flailing around of the breakout demonstration, I'm kind of wondering.

Did people from the audience play anything like the games shown in the trailer? I would venture that they got to try out the paint thing, breakout, perhaps a few games that are compatible with it, and lastly, use the gesture and voice communication to navigate the Xbox 360's OS.
