Forums - Microsoft - What happened to Halo Chronicles and Hulu?!

Remember that Peter Jackson project announced a looong time ago? Well another year without news about it. Im happy about the new Halo game but just a little dissapointed nothing hearing any news about the project. And what about Hulu? I thought there was some speculation about it coming to the Xbox 360 from Ms. Olivia Munn but no news.

Oh well E3 isnt over yet so keep your ears open for something related to this topic

E3 2010...

No offense man, but after that E3 showing and how many things we're getting on Xbox Live (last.fm, twitter, facebook, party movie viewing, integrated Netflix, instant watch movies and TV shows, 1080p content) Microsoft is allowed to have dropped the ball on something. Seriously, Live just jumped into the stratosphere with the amount of new content we're all getting. I know where my yearly payment is going, believe me.

I'm not sure about Halo Chronicles. Maybe Halo Reach is what Halo Chronicles was. Maybe Jackson's just not involved any longer. No worries, since now an even better director is going to make games for us now. Boom Blox for 360, you heard it here first! Pulling out Jenga pieces with your hands.

I think two halo announcements for e3 is fine for now.

I always LOL when folks talk about the Peter Jackson Halo film. My heavens - it was done years ago - Aliens. Sure, add a couple things here and there, but in the end, Ripley = Master Chief.

I definitely wish MS would add a browser to the 360. And then, we could all get hulu.com

Maybe it's a control thing - ha - I know it is.

To be honest I was really hoping for Hulu and it is the only let down for me. I would rate E3 a 9/10 just because I didn't get Hulu or any Rare Games.

I'm happy it doesn't have one. Both the PS3 and Wii browsers are limited compared to the browsers on your computer. The main reason though is because not having a browser has caused MS to integrate many cool features into the 360 itself that they may not have if they lazily could have had them sitting in a crappy browser. I'll enjoy doing my facebook stuff on my integrated 360 application than I would on facebook.com over some browser on my 360. Then again, PS3 is my porn streaming central, so maybe I shouldn't be speaking so soon on the idea of a browser.

Haha! That's funny. I have an iPod Touch and love it. I use it more than my laptop. However, I do enjoy having devices that overshadow each other. Reduncancy. You are correct about LIVE and MS. My PS3 browser is ok - and can't load up hulu properly. Arghh!

12:54pm—Other entertainment partners like Hulu (as with Sky announcement today)? Yes, Whitten says that they're looking to do just that, "bring the magic of the video." Showing Sky TV live video behind his answering the question. They want to do it right, so they won't be rushing partnerships and announcements.
