Now Microsoft just needs to add a 250GB HDD or something larger.

Good step forward, though.

Yeah and it probably cost more than 200$ >_>.

Definately need a larger drive... I only have 40 Gb left on my 120 and shelf space is near empty for 360 games...

I will shift to digital download exclusively if possible.

One question though... Will VGC be able to track sales of this media?

You can go up to 300GB on Newegg for $60. Its pretty much assured that there will be a 240-360GB HDD available for the Elite versions, im thinking the latter to give current Elite owners more incentive to upgrade. The premium model may get a 120-160GB HDD as well.

Vgchartz will not be able to track these new sales, unfortunately. Even the gamercard method wouldn't work if people who buy the games retail show up the same.

Tease.

NeoRATT -

Yes. VGC can track it. I am working with the Brett & the other higher ups to track sales for such systems. It may be slightly difficult for now, but the opportunity does exist to track them.

Is it similar to how you'd track the Live Arcade games?

Tease.

I hope the prices are low, but I doubt it after seeing the prices for XBOX Orginal games.

Yes, Squilliam. The issue is finding a way to separate users from regular retail purchasers. Of course, it's my job to figure that out

This is going to be pointless if they don't get the prices of newer, bigger hard drives down in a hurry.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

Microsoft will need to tread carefully here.

If stores can't make money selling the software, they might not sell the low margin hardware.

Also, given that broadband is not universal, that some providers have ridiculously low download caps (as low as 5G per month -- which would be one game), and that there is limited hard drive capacity, this is a supplement and preparedness for the future we all know will eventually get here. The question though is when.

Paying $5-$10 for a DL title is one thing. Paying $50 is something else. I really wonder how many console owners today will do that.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
