Granted, last year's "Oh snap" FFXIII announcement gave me more pleasure as a human, but this year was MUCH better for me as a gamer. Really great stuff. They really focused in on the 360 core audience. Color me pleased.

Splinter Cell: Conviction
Forza 3

I was shocked shitless by all of those, lol. I can't wait. Epic woot!

I don't even like Splinter Cell, or racing games, but those look pretty cool, lol.

Also, that Lucas Arts adventure game. Day 1 for me.

I'd completely agree with you if they just ended the conference with the MGS announcement. Stoping right before they spent 20 minutes on twitter and facebook.

How can you be disappointed that Crackdown did not get a release-date?! It was a huge announcement that this game is on its way.

 

Here a comparison of the Xbox360 exclusive LineUp last year, this year and next year (what we know so far):

2008:

  • Gears of War 2
  • Fable 2
  • Left 4 Dead
  • Banjo Kazooie
  • GTA IV Lost and Damned

2009:

  • Halo ODST
  • Splinter Cell Conviction
  • Forza Motorsport 3
  • Left 4 Dead 2
  • Magna Carta 2
  • GTA IV The Ballad of Gay Tony

2010:

  • Mass Effect 2
  • Alan Wake
  • Lost Planet 2
  • Crackdown 2
  • Halo Reach

You can't conplain about a lack of games for the Xbox360 at all. There are some very promising games. But with Bioshock 2, Modern Warfare 2, Max Payne 3 and Assassins Creed 2 the multiplat games are probably the most important.



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

there are/were/will be more like Infinite Undiscovery, Race pro, Last Remnant, Star Ocean, Ninja Blade, Halo Wars etc. but I just mentioned the big guns.

Remember last Xmas when Xbox360 outsold the PS3 on the software side? so you see, this is enough.

Looks decent, but IMO God of War III, Uncharted 2, and GT5 alone will blow all of that away.
