(you can find name author in the title screen between minute 1 and 2).

(game start at 3.35)

Yes very memorable, first a nice piano tune and bam very contasting game music, plain awesome!

The game music was composed by Jeroen Tel, I linked to a few of his efforts above (Lemmings classical tunes and Turbo Outrun on the c64). IMO the greatest Dutch game music composer from the era. Here an interview with him and Rob Hubbard:

Rob Hubbard composed one of the most memorable c64 in-game music as well, Monty on Run:

It seems Allister Brimble also contributed to Agony. IMO some of his best game tunes:

Lost Vikings (Amiga 500):

Superfrog (Amiga 500):

The Ghosts 'n' Goblins music by Mark Cooksey was very effective and creepily atmopheric, IMO much more so than the Amiga/Arcade version.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_Uw9Ii34A8 (c64 music for Ghosts 'n' Goblins)

Sadly he didn't do such a good job with regard to Commando's music on the Amiga compared to Rob Hubbard on the c64 (the arcade tune also sounds less intense though). The Atari ST version was done by the same team, probably they made sacrifices on the Amiga for easy cross platform development of the two versions....

Classic sounds from Ghouls and ghosts, Outrun, Megaman, Shinobi and Streets of rage ringing in my ears.....................

Oh, the memories
