I doubt it'd be for "all games". That'd just piss off developers that don't want such a feature.

 

Also, it's just a patent so far, we don't know if Nintendo is really going to use it. At least that's what I'm assuming.

well, if it was a patent, wouldn't that mean it was an external feature?
usually an IP is copyrighted not patented. Patents are for inventions

Oh yes I remember thanks. I don't think it will be for all games though; it would be an enormous work and require a lot of data either in the disc or in Nintendo's servers (which are quite weak...).
