Forums - Nintendo - Is the Wii in stock in your area?

Erratic.

Sometimes you'll walk into a store and see 3 Wiis. Next week, they'll be gone.

Usually I see one Wii or a sold out sign/empty display.

Ironically enough, the last time I checked Wii supplies in my area... I had to call 6 different stores before I found one with Wiis left in stock and it only had two left.

Like Veteran, I've not really seen them near Boston. My store variety is rather limited, though.

I've hardly seen them in the last weeks. Most of what I see are the "FOR DISPLAY ONLY" boxes.

This weekend I didn't see any in Nashville, and there still aren't any to be found where I'm at in Kentucky.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

yes... I am situated in the UK but whenever i'm i a game shop at least 1 or 2 people come in and say 'can i have a wii'
Europe seems to be well provided with wiis. There is a pile of over 50 wiis in the shop here and more in the storage room (Mediamarkt Basel Switzerland). Wiis have always been in stock here since day 1. As a curiosity, the only pile of consoles that visibly diminishes from day to day is the PS3 starter pack pile.. though that seems to be a local /country effect not showing in European sales numbers..

The local HMV here in Windsor UK sometimes has a sign up saying 'Wii now in stock'. It was up on Sunday. It's not hard to get one here.

same here about the ps3 and 360s-but i did see a wii 3 weeks ago--i am in fort wayne IN

I've seen Wiis once since I bought mine on launch day. There were three at a Best Buy eight hours after shipment here in Cary (biggest suburb of Raleigh, NC).

I live in Lubbock, TX (200K population) and work in Redmond, WA. So weekends in TX and weekdays in Redmond. I am also in the Dallas area pretty often. I have never seen a Wii in any store, and I always make a point to check. The only place I did see a Wii(where I ended up purchasing mine) was at the Nintendo company store in Redmond.

Boston Area.

A small Gamstop had 1 Wii when I bought games yesterday. They get shipments of about 10 per week.

There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.
