BioShock will keep getting good sales. It seems to have great legs even though there have been many games relased in its wake... Stranglehold and Medal of Honor didn't affect sales much at all.
Any new X360 owners who pick up a system for Halo will probably pick this up as well. Halo3's hardware boost will probably benefit this game.
PS360 ftw!
Currently playing..........
Gears of War 2, GTA IV Lost and Damned, Little Big Planet (Yes I said I had no interest but my girl wanted to try it and we did and now Im hooked
)
I think Halo 3 is going to push some Bioshock sales since it's now one of the 360's must haves. At the moment, this is probably the order of the 360's must have list (though I don't necessarily agree with this):
1. Halo 3
2. Bioshock
3. Gears of War
4. Dead Rising
I'd add Oblivion GOTY to that list - the Xbox had a long history of making Morrowind an uber-seller through ultrastrong GOTY sales.
But I agree, that list is crap to a degree - not that there are any 'bad' games on the list, but lacking a few great titles like Crackdown and Forza 2 - the most underrated, undersold games for the X360 this year.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
Yeah, the good thing is both games realy work well together, one is a singleplayer paranoia game with great RPG elements and the other is a multiplayer epic war game with big areas and vehicles, plus Halo playes in the future and Bioshock in the past... sorta... I think these two are the ultimate tagteam for anybody who likes anything close to shooters.

dont forget madden 08 . it will increase very much when halo relesed

I think it will drop a bit but in the long run it will help Bioshock sale on the 360

I think the hardware increase will net a gain for Bioshock through the holidays. It don't see Bioshock and Halo3 as mutually exclusive games at all -- El Duderino hit it on the head there...
I'm beginning to wonder just how many consoles will really go out the door this fall over what would have been sold without H3. I was only assuming 100-150K bump but I'm now wondering if it isn't going to be more like 500K or so through the end of the year on top of what they would have sold otherwise...
If one must rise, ONE MUST FALL - kind of cheesy, but I always wanted to say that
Bioshock being single player oriented and having no multiplayer, is not going to beat Gears Of War by any extent and Bioshock is no Oblivion when it comes to replay value.
Heeeeyyyy!!!! <Snap>
