They need to do better than just sequels. You can only make so many Mario and Zelda games per generation. They really should come up with some new ideas like Sony, Microsoft, and Third parties do.

I would love to see a brand new idea by myamoto (excuse my spelling on his name). I'm sure he's got plenty.

Most of the HD console's big games are sequels... =/ They don't come out with new ideas? They've made several new IPs for Wii and DS. In a thread earlier you said the only new IPs they made are the Wii series...yet they've made Disaster, Captain Rainbow, Meteos, Elite Beat Agents, Nintendogs, Brain Age, Magical Starsign among some.

First off, please dont call the PS3 and 360 "hd consoles" because they are far more than just "HD" consoles.. why not call them "online consoles" as well? Sure the wii does online but does it do it as good as PS360? Sure the wii does graphics, but does it do it as good as the PS360? Anyhow that is an entire argument in itself, has nothing to do with the discussion.

The  reason I quoted was because most of sony's first party ip so far this generation for the Playstation 3 have been full of new ip, from Uncharted, heavenly sword, to little big planet and MAG. Sony have tons of new ip for the PS3. As for microsoft, bioshock, Mass effect, Alan wake, are they sequels or new ip?

What has nintendo released as a new ip that isnt Wii (insert title)?

-Bioshock is developed by 2k Boston/2k Marin, and has nothing to do with Microsoft or Sony.
-Mass Effect is developed by BioWare (Microsoft is just the publisher, and because of the publication, they created an agreement, and now Microsoft has the exclusivity).
-Alan Wake is developed by Remedy Entertainment (the same developer of the Max Payne, Microsoft Games Studio is just the publisher, and here happens the same thing that happened with Mass Effect).
-Uncharted is developed by Naughty Dog (and is published by Sony Computer Entertainment. You alread know why we have a exclusivity here).
-Little Big Planet is developed by Media Molecule (...everyone knows what happened here)
-Heavenly Sword is developed by Ninja Theory (..............)
I will past what Soriku said in another thread to show you the same cases in the Nintendo plataforms:
"I guess Disaster, Captain Rainbow, Meteos, Elite Beat Agents, Nintendogs, Brain Age, Magical Starsign, etc."
Now I will past what Naznatips said in another thread:
Nintendo has released their core franchises far faster than any generation previous. In 2 and a half years they have released  Excite Racing, Battlaion Wars. They also published Fatal Frame one of the most niche core games they have.
On the DS they have Elite Beat Agents, Professor Layton (yes, they published), Advance Wars, ASH, Band Bros., Jump Stars, Jump Ultimate Stars, Etrian Odyssey, Soma Bringer, Hotel Dusk, Jet Impulse, Magical Starsign,Trace Memory.
I'm tired, so I will not give another examples.
Online on the Wii is perfect for me, I never had a single problem.

-Bioshock is developed by 2k Boston/2k Marin, and has nothing to do with Microsoft or Sony.

-Mass Effect is developed by BioWare (Microsoft is just the publisher, and because of the publication, they created an agreement, and now Microsoft has the exclusivity, but the EA is the new publisher for the Mass Effect 2, and we will probably see a PS3 version).

-Alan Wake is developed by Remedy Entertainment (the same developer of the Max Payne, but Microsoft Games Studio is the publisher, and here happens the same thing that happened with Mass Effect).

-Uncharted is developed by Naughty Dog (but it's ok, this is a second party).

-Little Big Planet is developed by Media Molecule (...everyone knows what happened here).

-Heavenly Sword is developed by Ninja Theory (.................. ).

The developers above has nothing to do with the Microsoft or Sony (only Naughty Dog, that is a Second Party).

Now I will paste what Naznatips said in another thread (some of these games are published by Nintendo, you can delete the Nintendo franchises/sequels, etc:

"Nintendo has released their core franchises far faster than any generation previous. In 2 and a half years they have released Mario Kart, Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Animal Crossing, Punch-Out, Smash Bros, Excite Racing, Paper Mario, Fire Emblem, Battlaion Wars, Wario Land, Mario Baseball, Mario Strikers, and remakes for Donkey Kong, Metroid, and Pikmin. They also published Fatal Frame and have made a Sin & Punishment sequel, one of the most niche core games they have.

On the DS they have Mario, Metroid, Mario Kart, Pokemon, Elite Beat Agents, Professor Layton (yes, they published), Advance Wars, Animal Crossing, ASH, Custom Robo, Band Bros., Jump Stars, Donkey Kong, Etrian Odyssey, Soma Bringer, Fire Emblem, Zelda, Hotel Dusk, Jet Impulse, Kirby, Magical Starsign, Mario & Luigi RPGs, Star Fox, Trace Memory, Yoshi's Island and numerous spinoffs of all the above franchises."

I can give you some other examples like Trace memory Wii,  but I'm tired, so I will not give another example. And I never had a single problem with the online mode for the Wii.
