Forums - Sony - inFAMOUS Ending was ORGASMIC! *SPOILERS*

IMO SONY has a winner on their hands with this one. I was overall pretty well enjoying the game, fun as hell to explore and go through stuff. I just completed my first round through as a good character and well...

The ending really, really, really did it for me. I mean, for a Superhero game, Sucker Punch nailed this in every aspect.

How much more epic in a Hero game can you get with an ending like that? We'll have to find out when Infamous 2 comes out now wont we?

Anyways, im going to play through again as EVIL and blow up the Ray Sphere.

FYI If you go play your character as EVIL and blow the Ray Sphere up, you become PERMANENTLY Infamous ranked, become overall stronger, get 4 extra energy cores (F YEAH !) and you also get perm Black + Red electric effects. Basically all of your attacks and abilites have a Black center with a Red outline as show below, god I cant wait til the next game ! :D

Now that I think about it for some reason I feel that Moya is probably going to have something to do with the "Massively Evil Entity" that is going to come into play down the road in the story line... anyone agree with me on this?

I personally was trying to figure out how Future Cole had powers. Am I to assume that the bomb was used and gave him powers without his influence before? Seems possible, but him having powers just confuses me slightly.

...

I believe the devices Cole wears, (The stuff on his chest, fake arm) give him the powers, I don't believe the powers are one with him like the present day cole.

ohhh....didn't think of that, another possibility. My theory was based on Future Cole saying that he "accelerated" the production of the Ray Sphere instead of saying that he invented it. Now that I think about it the machines on his chest and arm could be augments replacing what he lost in the original uncontrolled Ray Sphere blast, and the present Cole didn't get these injuries because the blast was more controlled when Future Cole was planning it.

Actually it states that Kessler sped up the development of the ray Sphere which to me implies that Cole would have gotten his powers but would have probably gotten them much later then he did in the game.

Black Women Are The Most Beautiful Women On The Planet.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Yeah I watched that part over again and your right with that. I also loaded a save right before you get to choose wether or not to activate or destroy the sphere to replay the end as evil... and wow Evil Cole is such an asshole haha after playing as good Cole throughout the game I almost felt guilty, was really strange playing as the Evil character... maybe I should of played Evil first haha. And I love how the city aftermath changes depending on if your good or evil.

The fact that the sphere didnt work for Zeke suggests that maybe the sphere only works for certain individuals?

Eg - Maybe Cole has some sort of Natural affinity or something.

Maybe he is what the game label's 'a Conduit' and the sphere amplifies only Conduit individuals.

Alden is a Conduit - and he sought the sphere.

Perhaps Cole would have developed these powers naturally, but at a slower rate.

Also - its interesting to note that the second activation of the sphere, John snatches the sphere away from Cole, and the sphere doesnt grant John powers, and it neither harms Cole. It would seem to suggest, that the sphere, does not need to be in the hands of the person to be enhanced when active, but however does manage to enhance the person who did activate the sphere, even when not being held by that person any more.

Have to say though, Im not entirely happy about the fact that I am now permanently stuck with red/black lightning... I liked red/white or blue better.

So... sequel?

The government has the plan for the Ray Sphere from John, and are trying to replicate one. Or maybe somebody goes rogue and steals the plans?

Yeah, I think they said in the game that the sphere only affected people known as "Conduits."

OT: I LOVE the story! It's so good! I really would love to see a sequel; this is definitely in my top 5 best games/franchises of all time.

@Necromunda

You aren't alone, I feel bad when I'm playing as evil too.
