Forums - Nintendo - has their been a shift in third party support towards wii and away from HD?

yes, its obvious that HD preferable dev. have gone out of business so surely they would suck it up and make a cheaper product. Spose the irony of this is that core fanboys use these same arguments to defend their games.

I mean seriously 4 yrs to make a game, 200 staff, 100 million dollars.
Wow, so is the game any good? Not always

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

The Wii is starting to get a bunch of announcements, but I really don't think the shift is too great. If the Wii starts getting more announcements than the HD consoles, then we can call it a shift.

The wii has more 2009 announcements than the 360.Multiplats included. In core games, not party games. And the diference is big.
