Totally awesome. Needs more hype! I'm pretty sure this game won't even break 300k. Which is extremely weird, Nintendo fans would die for a Brawl sequel, and this is as close as you're gonna get, and everyone's ignoring it.

This is like saying EA's MySims Racing should be hyped as the closest thing we'll get to a Mario Kart Wii sequel.

The fact that SSBB has between 4 to 6 times as many playable characters as this game seems to along with much better looking models/textures says a lot.  The only thing halfway decent in that trailer looked like the stage design but if the game can't even manage the same number of playable characters as the original N64 Super Smash Bros. then it doesn't matter.

I sense wasted potential in this title, but I'll wait until it's released before making up my mind because I actually would really like more good brawl-esqe titles.

Has the amount of playable characters already been confirmed?

No, these were just the first 6. There are more to come.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Yeah, the game has potential but it only has 6 playable characters revealed right now. The TMNT universe has A LOT of potential fighters (Bebop, Rocksteady, and Krang in a suit are three that come to mind) that could be included into the game. The stage design looks awesome, I must say, but the game itself looks like it's a little slow when watching the videos.

In another thread I listed a few things that would assist in turning Brawl into a TMNT Ninja fighter. One of them was a Test of Might challenge. Fortunately in a previous trailer when watched again I saw it does have a Test of Might. So for i'm seeing more depth in Smash-Up than Brawl. Though it's miniscule. As as others have said it's way to earlier to know the entire roster. What game has ever been released with 6 good guys and 1 bad guy, that already throws the 6 characters out already. Seriously your not going to throw in all the turtles(4)? Splinter(5), April(6), Shredder(7). See math already off.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

If you are not into TMNT, what is the draw of this game?

It looks like a nice multi-person fighter, but not necessarily a better one than SSBB (though I would hope any random on-line matching would be better).

Mike from Morgantown

what was the draw of SSMM if one is not a fan of nintendo? the same applies here. It's pure fan service. Game Arts and Ex Team Ninja members should not disappoint, and this should be a quality game.

Like Stefan said, it can be seen in the last second of that trailer that more characters will be confirmed this summer. The least they can do is add Karai.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Donatello > all

Currently Playing: - Pokemon Sun - 3DS

3DS Friend Code: - 4339-3849-0940

Well, yeah I can see my math was off, but I attribute that to me just waking up. Anyways, I sincerely hope they announce a plethora of characters, considering how rich the TMNT universe is with characters.

As long this game has the character I'm looking for I'll buy It.

GOOOONGAAALA !!!!

April playable... WTF?!

Also, those are some blurry textures you got there. Looks worse than previous screen shots.

April fights in the Turtles 2K television series, so it's not too surprising.

BTW, they better have more than 6 characters, I want to see at least 20.  How many characters does Brawl have?
