I'm glad you enjoyed it Neos. I'm not a fan of sandbox, but it's cool to see you liking your PS3 games!

I have played Crackdown, but didn't play Mercenaries 2. I think you will like the game ;). Think of it as GTAIV, but then actually.. you know..good. |
I hated GTA IV, but for me Mercs 2 was a flawed masterpiece, and Crackdown was even better but more repetitive. My enemy in these games is repetition, so is Infamous repetitive?
Tease.

Ugh. To be honest, I'm not going to play my Wii anymore until another zelda/mario or DQX/monster hunter tri.

Hmm the game has a LOT of different missions. And each part of the city has around 6-7 different enemies (3 neighbourhoods). Also, why only having electricity as a weapon, there are a lot of different powers to discover. It's so much fun to totally destroy every part of the town =D

Maybe I'll have to give it a look.
Im still looking for the perfect sandbox game to make love to forever, but unfortunately that just hasn't happened yet!
Too bad leafy bugs are intimidated by wide open spaces...

| Neos said: Well, to be short, i fricking loved every minute of it. I decided from the start to become infamous and while it is (according to my experience) the difficult way of playing it, it is also a lot of fun. The entire city hates you, your friends, pretty much everyone. I think the graphics of the game are GTA IV like, perhaps a little better at some times. I don't agree with the reviews that there are frequent popups and framerate drops. They are very rare and only happen when you go ballistic on your enemies or the city. The story, while being pretty simplistic, is based on your acts. If you want to be the hero, you will notice you will have to do more. Being evil is the shorter way i guess. But the city hates you while you are evil, so everyone throws rocks at you and tries to melee you (lol). In the end, i would give this game a 9/10. Also, one little spoiler for you guys. There WILL be a sequel. |
Hmmm, I'm also playing as evil (already infamous at this point) and I think that it's the EASY way to go. Sure, people hate you, but they do not tend to do THAT much, aside from sometimes shooting you or throwing rocks (yay, another use for my seven-way grenade >_>). It's also easier because you don't have to pay attention not to hurt people. You can just go ballistic and destroy everything around.
I love the evil - good missions. Maybe a smart ploy but I can't wait to play entirely good to see what the other end of the story is and how they do something different as to what I had to do in the evil missions.
About your spoiler: I knew that, and I can't say I'm disappointed about it :p
