I want a Zelda game starring Zelda or Ganondorf.

In TP they made Link right handed for the Wii version... because most Americans are right handed. Maybe they'll do the same for Zelda Wii. |
Are there more left handed people in Japan? I am left handed for writing but I do everything else with my right hand.

You can always play the Zelda games for the CD-i they feature Zelda as the main character. But apparently they are some of the worst games ever made so I wouldn't.
As for a Zelda game made by Retro, I guess anything's possible but Miyamoto himself always plays a big role in the development of every Zelda game. While not being the head of each project he often oversees the development to some degree. However that would be difficult with a western studio like Retro. I think Retro has proven themselves to be a great studio and Nintendo did intrust them with one of their most successful franchises.
But if you think about it a second. Metroid was a dead IP with no new games to launch in the franchise since the SNES. Nintendo didn't entrust them with what is perhaps one of their most important IP's. Though I think Retro likes wants to work on established Nintendo IP's over creating their own new IP's considering they ditched all of their new games as soon as they recieved the Prime liscense.
To be honest I could see Retro working on another retro franchise like Kid Icarus. Or maybe they'll have a new IP to show off at this years E3. Here's hoping they have something fantastic and new for this years show!

I wouldn't wish those games anyone.
I hope not. Nintendo EAD makes the best Zeldas and that's what people seem to need now. A revolutionary new Zelda.
Pixel Art can be fun.
Zelda Oblivion inspired. Total win. Of course I don't want to deal with constant equipemt management and micro management in there games. But a massive world with lots of people. Explorations galore, big and dungeons and lots of them. While still mainting the Zelda play style. Total win.
NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
Do retro studios have the talent to make a third-person action adventure? I think they are pros at First-person action adventures and they should stick to that.

Link is left handed, just as his creator and always has been:
If the user is forced to play this game right handed I will sell my Wii immidiately.

No he was left handed for Twilight Princess. They reversed the game when they ported it to Wii. So weird actually, that it was simpler to reverse the entire game then to just reverse link.
But again yeah I'll sell my Wii. I'm not kidding.
