All PC games are the most fun on LAN, IMO. But that doesn't mean it isn't still a shit-ton of fun to play online.

I have two good friends that I've played with, but neither together yet. They're friends with each other too, though, so I can't wait to take on the hordes with both of them.

We just need to get a fourth in the mix... We've got another friend that would, but he doesn't have L4D yet.

No. I didn't say it was bad online. Just that it's much better offline :p

Also it lacks content. 4 levels normally and 1 in survival doesn't really cut it :\

Versus is the best anyways, so i hope you're playing that in your lan matches. Considering it changes each time you play it, the level restriction isn't a big deal at all. More levels would obviously be welcome, but it has incredible replay value as is.

There's 21 different survival stages. I take it you've gold medaled them all?

actually you don't concidering the wording of your sentence was merely to point out that i wasn't aware of said 21 stages.

In either case, I think the maps get a bit dull pretty fast. In particular when it's not in lan :p that's just my opinion. No i don't have it. I've played it on a net'cafe and the downloaded it n played it the two days that valve had it for free on steam. Got bored of the levels within those two days aswell.

I would buy it if it had more levels.

But yeah.. versus is pretty great.A lot of fun.

This would be better as DL content rather then a whole new game

With the GOTY or whatever editon that just came out I doubt it would a 2009 release..A DLC is more likely

Probably an expansion. We just got the Survival DLC couple months ago.

It doesn't just have four levels though. It has four campaigns with five levels each, then a fifth campaign with one level.
