Yes, but why would anyone pay $50 to play Halo 2 online when they could play much better 360 titles. |
Who says they only play Halo 2 online? For all you know only 1000 people play Halo 2 online ...

@Seece
Halo 2 still hits the top 10 in occasion, but those people who still play Halo 2 after all these years are basically Halo fanatics... those people all own Halo 3 and a 360
@Outlaw
Are you trying to say that MS is counting the old accounts from the Xbox days?
If those accounts are still active then yes, they do count them since they can migrate from one console to another, but realistically how many people who own the original Xbox, still play it online and havn't upgraded to the 360?
I think 50,000 to 100,000 might be reasonable, a few hardcore players who still log on to play Halo 2 but don't really care for Halo 3... I'm sure a few people like this exist.

I'm not saying they are, but that I wouldn't be surprised if they were.
And I'm kinding along the lines of 50k-100k active players. Didn't NPD release something that said the Xbox was played as much as the PS3? Something like that.
