inFamous - 2 million - they've been advertising it a lot. Would sell more if it came out around xmas.

God of War III - 4 million - long awaited. Yes, it will outsell the first two games because a) Ps2 was heavily pirated b) there was alot more competition from other games on ps2 since it had the biggest library of any system

Gran Turismo 5 - ???

Uncharted 2 - 3 million - outsells the first one thanks to groundbreaking graphics, higher reviews, and co-op + multiplayer

Heavy Rain - 750k - box office bomb, lacks mainstream appeal. Will probably be good though

R&C: Future 2 - 1 million - people dont want to spend $70 on the same old same old

M.A.G - not sure, though I will predict it hits atleast 750k-1 million. Could be a bust or catch fire like Modern Warfare for its online and sell multi-million. Depends how the 256 mp ends up

I'm going for:

inFamous - 1.5 million

God of War III - 3 to 3.5 million

Gran Turismo 5 - No idea

Uncharted 2 - 2.5 million

Heavy Rain - 500-600k

R&C: Future 2 - 750k

M.A.G - 800k-1.2 million

Infamous - 1.5m

God of War III - 3m

Gran Turismo 5 - 10m

i am also taking into consideration that a price cut will have happened by the time many of those games are released.

My prediction now is that a price cut happens on the same day Uncharted 2 is released which IMO will be around sept-oct. Right before Holidays, and Ps3 will be the hot console for xmas. Ps3 user base will be much higher than it currently is when a lot of those games are released that's why some sales figures on my predictions may look a bit high.

though it seems like we all think Heavy Rain will bust in the sales department.

I actually don't think Infamous will do that well.
I would say :
Infamous : 1 millions
GoW3 : 3 millions
GT5 : 10 millions
Uncharted 2 : 3 millions ( good IP but the competition is a lot tougher than when Uncharted 1 came out..)
MAG : 500-750k ( I don't see what the game can bring over Warhawk, Socom or KZ2 MP honestly).

I dont see why inFAMOUS wouldn't do that well.

LittleBigPlanet sold well over 2 million. Heavenly Sword sold around 1.5 million.

inFAMOUS is being advertised alot and has received great reviews. LTD - 2 million.

...a much larger scale. More enemies. Much bigger maps. 256 multiplayer compared to Kz2 32 multiplayer.

LBP was released during the holydays...

M.A.G - Normally 1m but if the the 356mp is gud then it cud do wonder and considering the price cut PS3 wud get in US where the FPS fanbase is the highest,it cud do wonders.

Honestly 32 players is chaotic enough for a fps.

Heck didn't resistance have 64 online players ? It already felt like it was too much...

More enemies seem fine but you're fighting so many allies to get kills it's a pain..
