Any combat sport. I train amateur boxing on a daily basis and kinda grapple a little bit with my pro fighter friend when he needs a training partner (though I really don't like grappling since... it's er, sharing sweat with some random guy).

hell yeah, i became a complete pacquiao fan after that hatton disaster. i was a huge hatton fan, then, with one left hook, i lost faith in british boxing forever. bastard lost me 200 quib.

the reason the fighters are all orthodox is because of clipping issues. i think it's hella gay, and hopefully they will fix it for the next iteration.

as a game, it is amazing. as an mma game, it's damn near perfect. it is so far above the previous ufc games that it is almost a different sport. i played the demo religiously until the game released, now that i have the game my wife has almost left me due to neglect.

as for mma and boxing, dana white has made the ufc a hip thing to like, whereas boxing is seen as outdated and antiquated. the truth is once you have seen mma boxing is just boring.

my only problem with mma is that too many jock douchebags get into it for the wrong reason. they forget about all the positive aspects of martial arts other than the violence. the fighers who live according to bushido are a dying breed.

and machida will rule the light heavies for a long long time.

Definitely a clipping issue, they apparently had to cut Clay Guida from the game because his hair was causing too much clipping issues during testing (lol).

This game is a great deal of fun and has replace Fight Night during my regular Saturday night gaming session with the boys. I hope they develop a custom engine next year now that the game has proven it can generate sales, the current one being used is the same one used in TNA and not only does it look outdated but has a lot of technical limitation that prevent this game from being a masterpiece.
