Will this product released in Europe???

What I would really, really like to see... Is the ZuneHD capable of DLing/playing Xbox classics from Live(or allow you do transfer them from your old disc via a 360). I mean, a 700mhz processor/128mb of ram shouldn't be a big deal to replicate the original Xbox, and then it instantly has the best hand-held library available. Just need to find a way to replace the sticks with something compact that can be on a hand held.

If this happens, it will be a Day 1 purchase for me. And it has huge upsides for MS. I mean, it suddenly makes a couple hundred old titles relevant again, and each sale would be pure profit. Developers would love them for it, opening up a new audience for games they've already made... and how many great old Xbox games that you never got a chance to play (or would replay) if they became portable? Who wouldn't play through Halo:CE again while riding the bus... or Ninja Gaiden? Who wouldn't finally give Psychonauts a chance since everyone says its great? It's a scenario full of win. (oh yeah, and it'd play music/videos too I guess)

Edit: Just saw the announcement about the ZuneHD... scratch that.

I'd be more willing to buy one if microsoft had stores like apple and I could actually play with the product a little bit. I plan to buy either an ipod touch or zune hd this winter but if there is no way for me to actually touch and try the zune myself, I wont be buying one.

MS is actually looking into opening some stores.

i agree it would be cool but i dont think the zune is capable of running xbox games. Even though the specs are not known at this point i dont believe they will throw in the equivilent of a 733 MHz CPU. Also different CPUs require different coding and i doubt the Zune HD will be sporting an x86 cpu. But we dont know and i agree origional xbox games would be cool! maybe now we can finally play Halo on a mobile platform and play over wifi like the DS!!!

Ever heard of Best Buy?  They usually have lots of iPods and Zunes to mess with.

I've just downloaded the Zune software, it's a great little media player.

This has pretty much confirmed the Zune to be my birthday present.

I'd say it's possible. The old zunes are like 300+mhz, 733 is nothing these days. And I'm inclined to agree that the CPU will be different though... It was just a pipe dream. But if they did that, it would be amazing. Halo mobile over wifi would be great...

while 733 MHZ isnt alot these days it is more than any handheld on the market (to my knoledge anyways) has. THis is because of the small space and heat and battery constraints. While it would be AWESOME to have a CPU of that calibur or even better realistically it just wont happen at this point in time :(
