After my 360 had to be sent for repairs (actually not a RROD, but would freeze up after 5 seconds - which meant I had to pay for the repair), and the other 3 people I knew who had them all had to send theirs in, I started buying all multiplats for the PS3. I've never had a console I've been afraid to use before, but this way I know (well, hope) it'll work when I get the exclusives.

Newer technology is prone to more failure do to more heat and the complexity of the hardware.  Also power consumption has vastly gone up. That my snes still works theroy doesn;t hold up very well. Open it open and take a look at how simple the design is and big the transistors are. It also gives off no heat and doesn't have a dvd rom on it

when you get ur ps3 add me on psn.

but do get a 360 later on when u got some cash there will always be a game or two to play on it.
