Forums - Sales - Take-Two's Q2 better than expected, still a loss.

http://www.reuters.com/article/ousiv/idUSTRE54P60T20090526

They lost $10 million, and excluding "items" they only lost 1/3 of what was expected.  Revenue was also not down nearly as much as expected but was still down 57% as compared to last year (when GTA4 launched).  They also forcast a profit for the year despite Red Dead Redemption and Mafia 2 slipping into next year.

Mafia 2 NEXT YEAR??? :(

Yeah. T2 has a serious problem with making deadlines, it seems.

How does the Wii take the blame for T2's inability to meet commitments/make commitments they can meet?

Because the Wii costs developers money as the market is split in half, theres no unified pool like there was last generation.

Tease.

How the hell is this company losing money when they have titles like GTA, 2k Sports and Bioshock? It really boggles my mind. They need to revamp management asap, fire the CEO and do drastic changes.

It's just that simple.
